Prescription Requests

Please allow 48 working hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take into account weekends and bank holidays.

If you have your prescription sent to a pharmacy please also allow time for this to be collected.

Ordering Your Prescription

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered over the phone by telephoning 0141 554 4536 between 11.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Please have a note of the medication you wish to be ordered ready when telephoning e.g. Omeprazole 20mg one a day otherwise you will be asked to call back with this information.

Prescription requests can also be handed or posted in to the surgery. The tear off page opposite your prescription should be used to re-order your medication; tick item(s) required.

Should you wish you can also arrange for your regular chemist to collect the prescription for you.

Online Service

We have an online prescription request service available. You will need to register for this service via the Patient Access website. To do so you will require an access code, unique to you, which our reception can provide you with.

Please enquire at reception. You will be required to complete a request for and provide proof of ID (e.g. passport, driving licence etc).

Sign in to Patient Access.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse, at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
